What is Addition compound?

Answer

Addition compound is a formed by addition reaction in which one molecule adds to another. This reaction occurs with unsaturated double or triple bond compound. e.g. HCl+CH₂ : CH₂ → CH₃CH₂ClCH₃CH₂Cl.
