Question
What is X-Ray Diffraction?
Answer
X-Ray Diffraction is the diffraction of X-Ray by a crystal. The wavelength of X-Rays are comparable in size to be distance between atom in most crystals, and the repeated pattern of crystal lattice acts like a diffraction grating for X-Rays. Thus a crystal of suitable type can be used to disperse X-Rays in a spectrometer.Subscribe to our youtube channel!
