Wolff Kishner Reduction – Conversion of aldehydes and ketones to corresponding hydrocarbons by heating their semicarbozones, phenylkydrazones and hydrazones with sodium ethoxide or by heating the carbonyl compound with excess sodium ethoxide and hydrazine sulfate.
