Measurement of Length – The devices generally used in the laboratory for the measurement of the length of a body are:
1. Metre scale having least count 1mm.
2. To measure length accurately upto 1/10 th or 1/100 th of a millimeter vernier calipers, screw gauge and spectrometer are used.
