Phase Change with Time…

Phase Change with Time – If a particle at a distance x from origin has phase ɸ1 at t1 and ɸ2 at t2.
Then, ɸ1 (ωt1 – kx) and ɸ2 = (ωt2 – kx)
∴ ɸ1 – ɸ2 = ω(t1 – t2)
So, phase difference, ∆ɸ = 2π/T × Time difference (∆t)
