The Used of Baking Soda –
(i) It is used as a medicinal antacid to neutralise the acidity in the stomach.
(ii) It is a source of carbon dioxide and therefore brightens, as an ingredient in baking powder.
(iii) Salt is used in beverages and as an ingredient.
(iv) It is used in fire extinguishers and for the production of carbon dioxide.
