The Properties of Boric Acid…

The Properties of Boric Acid –
(i) When heated to 100℃, it loses water forming metaboric acid.
(ii) B(OH)3 is a weak monobasic acid. It does not liberate H+ ion but accepts OH ion.
(iii) It is an acid-containing compounds of boron, oxygen, and hydrogen.
(iv) These are soft, white solid, needle shaped crystals that are soapy to touch.
