The Nernst equation can be used to calculate:
(i) Single electrode reduction or oxidation potential at any conditions.
(ii) Finding the feasibility of combining such single electrodes to produce electric potential.
(iii) Determination of Solubility Product
(iv) Potentiometric Titrations
(v) Measurement of pH
(vi) Standard electrode potentials.
