Boiling Points of Aromatic Carbonyl Groups:
(i) Benzaldehyde is a colourless liquid with boiling point of 179°, pleasant odour of almond and soluble in ethanol.
(ii) Acetophenone is a colourless liquid with boiling point of 202°C and sparingly soluble in water but readily soluble in diethyl ether and ethanol.
