Define to Dinoflagellates…
Dinoflagellates are unicellular, motile, biflagellate, golden-brown coloured protists. They form the important components of phytoplankton. Their macronucleus possess condensed chromosome even in interphase called as mesokaryon. Sometimes, they exhibit the phenomenon of bioluminescence, e.g. Noctiluca. Some dinoflagellates are known as oceli.
