Dispersive Power – The dispersive power of a prism material is measured by the ratio of angular dispersion to the mean deviation suffered by light beam.
∴ Dispersive power, [ω = δV – δR/δγ
= μV – μR/μ – 1
where, μ = μY = Mean refractive index
