Effect of Antacids Drug:
(i) Generally antacids in liquid from are more effective.
(ii) Over production of histamine stimulates the secretion of pepsin and HCL in stomach.
(iii) Cimetidine (tegamet) and ranitidine (zantac), omeprazole and lansoprazole are used as an antacids.
