Effect of Concentration on Reaction Rate –
(i) The rate of reaction highly depends on the type and nature of the reaction.
(ii) Number of reactants, complexity of reaction and other factors highly influence the reaction rate as well.
(iii) The smaller the size of reactant, the faster the reaction.
(iv) The rate of reaction increases with the increase in the concentration of the reactants.
(v) The chemical reaction rate is directly proportional to the concentration of reactants.
