Electric Field…
Electric Field – Region around the charge in which its effect (force on another charge) can be experienced is called electric field. It is also called the sphere of influence for the point charge.
i.e. E = F/q0
Its SI unit is Newton/Coulomb = Volt/Metre = Joule/Coulomb × Metre
and its dimensional formula is
[E] = [MLT-3 A-1]
