Electric Field due to charged Circular Ring – Electric field due to a charged circular ring of radius R and charge Q at a distance x from the centre of the ring on its axis is given by
At centre, x = 0, so Ecentre = 0.
At a point on the axis such that x >> R, E = kQ/x2
If x = ±R/√2, then [Emax = 2kQ/3√3R2]
