Inductance of a Solenoid – The magnetic flux through each turn is,
ՓB = BS = μ0 NS/l ×I
Here, S is the cross-sectional area of the solenoid. Now,
n = N/l is the number of turns per unit length
L = NɸB/I = N/I(μ0 NSI/l)
⇒ [L = μ0 N2S/l]
