Physical Properties of Haloarenes:
(i) Haloarenes are heavier than water, through polar in nature and slightly soluble in water while completely soluble in organic solvents like, ether, alcohol, etc.
(ii) The boiling points increase with the increasing atomic size of the halogen. However the melting points increase with the increasing atomic size of the halogen.
