Structure of Paraffines…
Paraffines have a chain of carbon atoms with each carbon atom bonded to four other atoms, either hydrogen or carbon. The carbon-carbon bonds are single bonds, and the shape around each carbon atom is tetrahedral. The general formula for paraffines is CnH2n+2.
