Half-Reaction – A redox reaction involving only oxidation or reduction only is called a half-reaction.
What is Half-Reaction?
While splitting the reaction into Reduction and Oxidation half reaction, the charges of ions in these half reactions have to be balanced by adding electrons. The method is, therefore, also known as Ion-Electron Method.
