The Principle of Sodium Carbonate…
The Principle of Sodium Carbonate –(i) It is based on low solubility of sodium hydrogen carbonate whereby it gets precipitated in the reaction.
(ii) The process is based upon the principle that when carbon dioxide is passed through brine solution saturated with ammonia.
(iii) This inorganic compound is water-soluble and when dissolved in water, it forms carbonic acid and sodium hydroxide.
