The Properties of Anomalous Behaviour of Boron –(i) Boron is a hard solid and which is bad conductor of heat and electricity.
(ii) Its high melting and boiling points which go as high as 2076 degrees and 3927 degrees respectively.
(iii) It exists in two allotropic form namely crystalline and amorphous.
(iv) Crystalline form is chemically inert and black while amorphous form is chemically active and brown coloured solid.
