Uses of Carbon Monoxide –
(i) It is used as one of the reagents for the production of aldehydes.
(ii) It is used in the manufacturing of detergents.
(iii) Phosgene is produced by using carbon monoxide.
(iv) It is used in the purification of nickel.
(v) Used in manufacturing of methyl alcohol, acetic acid, sodium formate, etc.
