Uses of Xenon in Inert Gases –
(i) Xenon is used in certain specialized light sources.
(ii) It produces a beautiful blue glow when excited by an electrical discharge.
(iii) A colourless, odourless gas. It is very unreactive.
(iv) Xenon can also be used as a general anesthetic gas.
(v) It produces ultraviolet light.
(vii) Both have fast response to electric current.
(viii) Xenon is used for photographic flash lamps, bactericidal lamps.
(ix) Xenon is used for various lasers, moderate nuclear reactions, and motion picture projectors.
