van’t Hoff Laws of Osmotic Pressure…

van’t Hoff Laws of Osmotic Pressure refer to a set of laws proposed by the Dutch chemist Jacobus Henricus van’t Hoff in 1887 to describe the relationship between the concentration of a solute in a solution and the osmotic pressure of that solution.
The laws state:
1. The osmotic pressure of a solution is proportional to the concentration of the solute in the solution. This is known as the Law of Proportionality.
2. At a given temperature, the osmotic pressure of a solution is directly proportional to the absolute temperature. This is known as the Law of Temperature.
