The Uses of Zeolites - (i) There are three main uses of zeolites in industry: catalysis, gas separation and ion exchange. (ii)Zeolites are used as molecular sieves and can separate molecules of different sizes. (iii) They are also used extensively as catalyst due to their porous structure. (iv) It can also be used to clean water or soil contaminated with heavy toxic metals.
