Amoeboid animal-like unicellular live in freshwater moist soil and salt water as parasite. They move with the help of pseudopodia as in Amoeba. Other members of this group are Entamoeba histolytica and E. gingivalis causes digestive disease, e.g. amoebic dysentery and oral diseases, e.g. diarrhoea respectively, when engulfed through polluted water.
