Question

What is Concentration?

Answer

Concentration is a solution is a measure of how much solute (solid) is dissolved in the solution It is generally expressed in terms of mass (e.g., grams) or number of particles (moles) per unit volume. For example the concentration of l dm3 of sodium hydroxide solution containing 40 g of NaOH can be expressed as 40 g/dm3 (g/l) or l mol/dm3 (l mol/l).
