Young’s Double Slit Experiment is: This experiment demonstrated the interface of light. In it light from a monochromatic source is allowed to fall on two parallel slits and then on a screen placed behind them. The slits act as two coherent sources of light, light from which reaches the screen covering different path. Resultant wave produces fringes of the interference on the screen.
